Sure I'll give it a try

Shoutout to ELDER CHASE HIXSON! Much love from the familia!!!!

After a lot of pressure and after reading the fun things everyone elses posts on their blogs, I have decided to enter this new and exciting world. I don't make any promises... actually I feel the need to make some disclaimers.
1. I do not tell good stories. I am not looking for sympathy, I have been told on a number of occasions by good friends that the "good storytelling fairy" passed me by when she was handing out that wish. I have come to almost accept it. Meaning I still attempt to wow the crowd with my story telling abilities. Usually failing, but hey it's alright.
2. I am very opinionated. It's just how I am. Don't read if you can't handle it.
3. I am a horrible speller and I have disgusting grammar. There is no excuse for that, but there it is. Sorry Mike.
4. I use exclamation points and smiley faces all too often. I am an easily excited person so that needs to come out with everything I type.
5. And lastly, I'm very small - this is just a disclaimer in general!

and the promise. . . although my life is quite ordinary I'll try to make this as enjoyable as possible! Here's to blogging!
PS I just did spell check on this post and it was comical how many things I had to change, and it begins!

Good for your Brooke. And don't worry, I'm a horrible story teller as well. We still love you! Give us an update on the mission info.

Laughed out loud at that post and am now waiting for more to come. LOVED it and LOVE you. I'm so glad you are blogging now. By the way, the Parrish family in general is pretty good at leaving comments, the only thing is we go on comment strike when we don't get them...kind of selfish huh? I don't know if I will be able to resist leaving you comments though, with posts like this.

Brooke! This is great! I'm excited to read your blog every day (or many times a day, like I do with everyone's blogs) and I already put a link to it in our blogroll.
I feel you on the exclamation marks - they're the perfect punctuation...

Well lets begin by first saying
...FINALLY, I mean seriously, how long can you stay away. I mean singles always say how blogging is totally for the married with children but really, sometimes I'm so sick of the married with children (such as myself:) that I need a little juicy from people like you. And we also need to mention here that Chase is totally a hottie, when did that happen?! Oh he will get snatched up after his mish, you better tell those girls to recognize. Anyways you know I'm thrilled to see you join the blogging world, it really is an easy way to stay updated. Sad I only got to see you once while I was home but it was good, and you still have time to jump on a plane with us to hawaii, think about it.

At last, our blogroll is complete!! :) I can't wait to stalk - I mean, read up on your life! I have the same problem with exclamation mark overuse - it's a problem that I'm seeking to remedy!

Why would you apologize for any of those things?! That's all the stuff good blogs are made of! I'm so excited to hear about all the crazy details of your life via blog- maybe you should quit your job next week and move back to San Diego so I can get the details in person as well! And you'll have to stay with us for a weekend so Cade and I can help you shop for all your hot missionary clothes! Let me know if that works for you, in the meantime we'll get the guest room ready:)
