ROCKWOOD/PRICE best combo EVER!!!!!

The day FINALLY came and went too quickly. This weekend Kt became a Price. We're so proud of her ;) They are so great, the wedding and reception were splendid and my joy is overflowing from the weekend, which I'm gonna need, i have to train my replacement at work - yikes (ya that was a run on sentence - deal)! Last but not least

There are certain things that happen in life that just make it worth living. They make you question humanity, they make your mouth drop, they make your emotions run wild, they allow time for reflection, AND they make for really AMAZING stories. One such experience happened to me yesterday. i should mention that some of you might be offended by this post, but as is life. I have to tell the story as it happened even if it is a little racy ;)

So I'm meeting my friend Emily at the gym and, bless her heart, she gave me the wrong directions - I should have known how to get there, but whatever. So I had to make a U-turn. Being the good driver I am I surveyed the scene, made sure I was able to complete this task without causing some sort of accident or bodily harm. Deciding that there was plenty of space and time to do this I went ahead and made the move. I did notice an old run down green 4runner coming at me, but seriously he was real far away. Apparently I messed up his driving "groove" and that really ticked him off. might i add that at no time did he have to even remotely slam on or press hard on his brakes. Next thing i know he honked at me and pulled next to me. Because of that this is the face he got from me. The classic "WHAT?!" with attitude face.

Then I got my senses back and my astonishment turned to

Gut wrenching laughter.

I seriously could not believe that he had just yelled that at me. I mean my friends and i say that to each other all the time, but I've never actually had someone yell it at me and really mean it. Maybe that has happened behind my back, I'm sure it has, but not to my face. it's a shocking experience, but in the end brought a smile to my face. Cause if i was having a bad day that guy's was way worse. I bet he just has a bad life cause no self respecting man looks like him and talks like that. Well angry man in the ugly green 4runner i hope you read this and repent cause that was very mean!

Ya, we have fun

This was our last weekend with our beloved Kt as a Rockwood so what do we do? we PARTY! it was pretty low key, but since my blog has been stagnent for quite sometime I want all to know that I do have fun ;) We had an O party, take that as you will. We love the O's cereal and we still have some left so that's a happy day! Love you Kt and JD!!!!

ETERNITY!!!

I was privileged to spend some time with the Rockwood/Price clan in the Newport Beach Temple this weekend. It was a beautiful experience and I am so proud of Kt for keeping herself worthy to receive all the blessings that the Temple has to offer. She is one of the most wonderful people I know and living with her has blessed my life immensely. My favorite thing about Kt is her enormous heart. She ends every conversation with I love you, she gives the best hugs, she worships her family (as she should they're amazing!), and she makes everyone around her feel loved and important. I am soooo excited for THIS weekend when Kt and JD will be sealed together FOREVER! Oh the joy this brings me as I live vicariously through others ;) More pics and stories to come after this blessed event takes place. For now enjoy the wonderful pictures below.

I was talking to a friend yesterday and was reprimanded for mentioning my photographic (improper use of word? maybe) car ride home, but I failed to actually document it on the blog. So don't blame me for the next few minutes of your time. I suggest that you read EVERY other blog, wash your hair, cut your nails, maybe even paint them, workout a little, do some vacuuming, a little cleanup, possibly some dishes and maybe if you still want to waste more time you can come back to this post and ENJOY! ;) so without further adue (spell check didn't know how to spell this and there's no way I'm gonna waste time figuring it out - I'd rather waste your time and mine on this lame blog ;) below is my HILARIOUS car ride home. Jersey Girl!!!!

IT FINALLY CAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As most of you have already heard I am on my way to New Jersey Morristown mission speaking the Espanol!!!!!!

I am sooooooooooo excited! It is such a priviledge to serve the Lord in anyway, but to be able to dedicate my all to Him for 18 months will change my life forever. I can't wait to get going and find those who have been prepared to hear this wonderful message.

Some thoughts:

• maybe I would come back from my mission as the sweet little girl I've always wanted to be - maybe like lou - Jersey will probably not produce that. Doesn't much matter cause you know it would wear off - it's not who I am unfortunately.


• I am sooo gonna get a kick out of those Jersey peeps!
  
• I hear it's a beautiful place although for most of my life I have referred to it as the armpit of America :) go figure.
  
• Learning Spanish - WAHOO!!!!
  
• tips from Dad - over exaggerate the vouels and consinents when I'm learning so I don't sound like a gringa when I speak and speak proper Spanish, no one likes a lazy speaker.
